Par-Kut manufactures and ships your ready to install guard house, guard booth, security booth or parking booth designed and built to meet all your unique requirements. All Par-Kut guard houses are pre-assembled and are shipped ready for installation. Par-Kut guard booths are factory-assembled of 100% welded steel, which gives you options to allow either fork lift for a standard guard booth or crane lifting for larger and platform mounted security booths. This article outlines how to install a standard guard house from the truck to your concrete pad.

The steps to install a Par-Kut standard guard house are as follows:

  1. Guard booths ship via flatbed truck direct to job site.
  2. It’s most common to use a forklift for offloading and placing smaller guard booths. Meanwhile, a crane is more typical for larger units and buildings with restrooms
  3. Once the guard booth is leveled, it can be anchored down.
  4. The last steps are hooking up the electrical service and cleaning the work area.

Standard Par-Kut guard houses have welded steel base that allows for simple fork-lifting. Once the guard booth or security booth is priced up and off-loaded with a forklift, it is ready to set the portable security booth in place over the utility stub-ups in the flat and level concrete pad. The concrete pad doesn’t require any embeds. Once the guard house is set in place, check for levelness and make sure all doors of the guard booth operate smoothly. Shim the guard booth if necessary, then anchor the booth with wedge-type expansion bolts using the pre-drilled anchor clips that Par-Kut provides. Fill any gaps between the bottom of the guard booth and the concrete with a butyl-type sealant, and then caulk around the entire perimeter.

Once electric service to the booth’s circuit breaker panel is connected, your guard booth, or security booth is ready to use. To learn more about Par-Kut guard booths, email us at http://www.Par-Kut.com/contact/ or call us at 1-800-394-6599.
